    June 2020 Market Update

Summer in Phoenix has arrived! That means fun in the pool, riding in your car-oven, and traveling to cooler places. I’ve had a family trip planned to Yosemite National Park in July, and we’re still deciding. Should we stay or should we go? How are your summer plans shaping up this year?

The Phoenix real estate estate market is heating up. After a temporary pause in March and April, home buying activity is as strong as ever. Active listings are down 29.8% from a year ago, making it a competitive market for home buyers and a great time for home owners to list and sell.

The good news for home buyers is buying a new home has never been more affordable. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage has again hit the lowest level in Freddie Mac’s nearly 50-year history, breaking the record for the third time in the last few months. Additionally, refinancing is a prime opportunity for home owners to reduce their monthly payment. Please contact me for an exclusive lender who offers a no-cost refinance program.

Last but not least, I’m so excited to welcome two new team members: Monica Louko, our most excellent Executive Admin, and Jim White, our investment-savvy agent-partner. Monica and Jim fulfill our mission to deliver the ultimate real estate experience for our clients. Please refer us to anyone you know who’s looking to sell, buy, or invest in real estate. Monica and Jim are eager to serve!
